FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JESUS HALF ANIMAL VILLA “FULL OF LIFE” FROM THE STREETS TO THE STAGE
Las Vegas, NV, May 24, 2013
—
Mark your calendars for 1pm on May 30th when Team Half Animal founder Jesus Villa will be sharing his life experiences and inspirational words with the students and staff at Matt Kelly Elementary School. There, all in attendance will be treated to food for the soul when Villa will share his story of adversity and fighting back to show that no matter what one’s circumstances, anything is possible with dedication and work.
This won’t be some “rah, rah, go team” fluff motivational speech. Villa knows from where these kids come from. He too grew up poor, and attending rough schools like Kelly. 18 years ago, he too was living on the streets when he was found by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and discovered his inner strength and talents.
Villa now returns to his roots to share his message of inspiration and belief in those young people who despite all odds can be the next world record holder themselves. Students and guests will be treated to a 2 ½ minute video providing a snapshot of Villa’s career. Then, it’s time for him to do what he does best; way the crowd with acrobatic feats that have to be seen to be believed. Then to a more serious note as he shows himself doing the near impossible in the breaking of the most consecutive 90 degree push-ups. Finally, all students will have the opportunity to earn a Team Half Animal water bottle through their own efforts and deeds, but more importantly, knowing that there are those that do care and believe in them, to not hold their heads down, and to not be afraid to fail. With hard work and dedication, success can be theirs as well.
Admission is free, but parking is limited.
